The centre suites on the 747 with the divider removed are just fine for 2 traveling together. In sleep mode your heads are almost touching, and you can have a nice cuddle(ahhhhh) We also like 6a,b at the very front, you can play footsie with each other. BTW is the partner your spouse, it makes all the difference to the answers I have given
