I've flown the outbound leg on an AP reward ticket and am wondering if it's possible to suspend it indefinitely (ie. a few months).

Originally had planned to fly it as booked, but just want to cancel my existing outbound and have the ability to rebook later (when my dates are certain).

Is this possible? The AP T&Cs seem to just cover flights which have not commenced yet.
