Do NOT put film in your checked luggage. Best chance for compromise.

I have had TSO "accidentally" expose my film, lose it (almost), and give me the full treatment AFTER I've already cleared. 99.999% of them have been cool, understanding that I won't take the risk. But I've gotten a few who, upon seeing my bag of 35 mm, decided to take out their job dissatisfaction on me.

After getting a roll back that had been pried open (so they could swab the inside?) and another time minus a few rolls (it took several firm insistances before they checked under the podium thing- oops! How could those rolls have gotten kicked under there?)
