I did a simple round trip MEX-Huatulco (the beach hut airport) - MEX in the last couple of weeks that was better than a lot of US domestic flights I've taken. The planes left on time, arrived early, 5-wide leather seats on their F100's, but my original comment was directed towards the 34~35" pitch, compared with 31~32" on AA & BA - getting back on an AA MD80 felt very cramped, particularly as we got parked in SAT for almost 4 hours because of bad weather.
