Agreed. Ironically, wasnt it just a couple of weeks ago that the London Police sent out a public appeal for tourists who might have been taking photos on Oxford street at the time of a public stabbing, to come forward and share the photos as it might help in the investigation? So if anything, photography might actually help enhance security!

And in this day and age with Google Earth and various airliner photo sites, books, and magazines, just how would security be enhanced by banning photogaphy? Should they then also ban sketching and taking of notes while on-board aircraft?
