Kind of a "whistle-stop" tour of eastern China's "greatest hits."
But if there are no CRH trains north of Nanjing yet, this might not be a great idea for a time-sensitive traveller.
Well the T31 and T32 are both "fast day trains" between Shanghai and Beijing. Travel time from Shanghai to Beijing on this one is approximately 10 hours or so i believe. Stops in Tianjin and some other places. Nanjing is also one of the stops along the way. The good thing about this train is that it doesn't stop in Suzhou, Kunshan, Wuxi, Changzhou, and therefore takes 20-30 minutes off travel time to NJ.
