only a couple of tables are available via opentable
very few of the tables are bookable via OpenTable. But I'm used to thinking that no tables at French Laundry are ever available, except with enormous advance planning and luck. That's why just finding tables within a week of the day I looked was so surprising.

And I suspect the buck or two to OpenTable for a reservation is almost unnoticeable when you're talking about $500 or more per person once wine's included.
