I have a 52 minute connection in SLC.. I didn't think twice about it. 42 is probably o.k. I likely wouldn't go below 30 minutes anywhere.

I love SLC! Never have had any problems with that airport.

(now, is my LAX 2 hour connection o.k.? lol)
