The 625PM flight is probably too tight (gates/terminals might also change by then). When you check in you can asked to be put on the 725PM standby. You can also call AA and see it you can confirm onto the 725PM for $35. If you go standby, make sure that as soon as you deplane that you head to that 725PM gate to make sure than you are on the list (the board will show your place in line.)
