I was on a Wizz Air flight last week (never again) and took a photo of the cabin - it did include some flight attendants. I was then approached by a male flight attendant who had not been in the photo who told me that he wanted me to give him my camera so he could delete any photos I had taken. I asked him why, and he failed to give a good explanation. I deleted the photo myself (while he watched) as I wasn't going to let him loose with the delete button. I was absolutely furious, and if it had been a UK crew, flying to a UK destination I would have refused absolutely to erase anything. If you don't want your photo taken, don't leave the house.
And in LHR, in the walkway between T1 and T2, I encountered a photoshoot. I wanted to take a photo of the photoshoot - got one snap - and was told very firmly that I was not allowed to take photos. I regret not standing my ground as I don't think this would be legally enforceable.
