Honestly, i do not know. I know that it was not specifically chosen by and for FlyerTalk but was likely in the standard package of these that somewhat "come with the system." I'm not that big a fan of these beyond what we have as like you, can see where they can be used to cause confusion. I think the Talkboard at one time was looking into adding many more to FlyerTalk and it did not get to a point where my opinion was asked. I'm not sure how I would answer though as i've noted, I like FT to remain somewhat more purist in any adoption of more of these and really don't feel "left out of the 21st century" by not having 100 of them to choose from. I'm a huge fan of letting out words say what we mean with our advice and comments.
