Positive developments don't seem in the offing and labor (machinists) news is negative. Proposed pay cuts and having to pay taxes on free travel would seem to warrant little effect on morale compared to the prospects of the airline closing its doors, but if they are, maybe the rank and file don't see the situation dire.
