My wife and I stayed there in September on point. I am a gold member and was upgraded to a suite. The first 4 nights we had an island view, then we were given the option of changing over to an ocean view for the last 4 nights which we did. We thought it was a great hotel, the staff was great and everything very clean. The only issue we had was about a month after we checked out we got an updated bill with about $30 in phone charges which we did not make. We made about $2 worth of calls which was on our bill at check out. They claimed that their "system" was down at the time the $30 in calls were made. Most of them were to NYC and Puerto Rico (we live in Raleigh, NC) so I suspect the housekeeping staff made some free calls to friends/family while we were out of the room. I would suggest you have the front desk block the phone or you can even unplug it and stick it in the in room safe when you leave. A quick phone call to the hotel GM resolved the charges for me. I hope you enjoy St Kitts, we thought it was a great island.
