Sorry, this is a stupid question and may not belong here, but I couldn't find a forum specifically designated for stupid questions.

My son has a couple of disposable cameras he'll be taking on a trip. They're the prehistoric kind with film. So I'm assuming they probably shouldn't go through the x-ray machine with his carry-on . . . so what does he do?

(The only thing I can think is "give them to the TSO - they love disposing of things!")
