I'm really glad I came upon this thread. I received my passes back in the fall and just assumed they were good for a year. I was planning to give them to my mom and sister for an upcoming trip on CO. After reading the thread I checked mine and saw that they expired 12/07, only a few months after I received them. I would have been horrified if my mother and sister had been turned away trying to use them.
Ironically, I tried last week to use one of the "Chase $100 off" a ticket of $400 or more. I couldn't get it to go through on CO.com. I called and when the res agent tried, he couldn't figure it our either. It was fourteen days in advance...oh, I was returning on a Sunday. Fine. I could come back on Saturday. He tried again. Oh. You have to stay over a Saturday night. Making the terms all the more difficult to decipher was that some restrictions were in small print on the front and others were in even smaller print on the back.
I had read comments on the forum about what these certificate were worth--not much, to put it nicely. Now I know why. I realize the Chase/CO can do whatever they want to, but both of these issues have created nothing but ill will and frustration for me. They would have done better by me to not include either. in the renewal packet I had decided to give the new CO PC card a try, but now I'm wondering what surprises will be in store for me if I do.
BTW, I'm sure this is covered somewhere on the forum, but my search function is not working. Can anyone tell me how, or if , I can purchase two day passes for the IAH PC for mom and sis.
