A quick update to this.

The couple are no longer at the hotel (but I am and in the same room). Security eventually escorted the two out of the hotel.

While they might be gone, I can't say my mind is clear. I had nightmares and been playing the sounds of the blows landing in my head all day long. While I'm glad they are not around to allow me or anyone else at this hotel to be woken up by such cruel violence, I can't say my mind is clear now. I'm sure after a full night of sleep tonight, I'll be better in the morning. I'll just hope that whatever their problem was, it is resolved and that they learn to control their anger.

I just really wished I never was woken up by those horrible sounds last night.
