I'm currently staying at a Renaissance Hotel where this morning at approximately 2:30 AM, I was woken up by noise coming from the next room over. The couple in that room were fighting, both verbally and physically. It was mostly the female who yelled and appeared to be the one hitting the male. I quickly called security who came up and handled the situation.

I've had nightmares since and cannot get what happened out of my head. I hope the man is doing okay as the blows appeared to be very loud and always seeming to land.

Anyhow... I know calling security was the right thing to do but I still somehow feel bad and disturbed by what happened. What else could have been done? What can I do now?
