As someone who does SFO->PVG multiple times a year, i would never opt for a flight that gets me in at 2am. It basically kills your day after.
Yet *most* Indian flights arrive in this horrid window. Score one for travelers to India who don't want to arrive in the middle of the night with this new flight*.
*Yes I know there is an option via MUC that works out well and arrives in the morning..
