If you are a Delta Medallion member, and you have a schedule change, usually Delta will switch you to any other flight combos.

As I said, I had a 15 minute change that changed my layover from 3 hours (for some reason, I could tolerate that) to 3 hours and 15 minutes (straw that broke the camel's back).... so I called, asked if I could have a smaller layover and I got 1 hour and 15 mins.
