SanDiego1k has responded to my question and it appears the FT Town Hall applications are indeed received.
There was a hitch where I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail but it is reportedly working now.
I'd still appreciate an e-mail and an explanation of the breakdown, thanks. ^

Does anyone who reads FT or who works here, have any interest in responding to this question?
PMs have also gone unresponded, so I assume this is a non issue and the application link might as well be removed and a 'no new applications, please' notice be placed.

There is a debate happening here regarding metrics of the interest level of people volunteering their time on FT.

Do applications that get sent just disappear, get ignored, get filed or get responses?
At this stage it is a mystery.
