It is all done with cookies, so you need not worry. However, there is considerable lag (4-5 days?) between making the purchase and it showing up in shopping history - and what is more I think that it only works if you purchase from iTunes under the same name as the DC member account you clicked from. In other words, I don't think any of the tracks my wife bought with her iTunes account when clicking through from my flybmi account have registered.
