Nice work you YYC luggage morons.

This passenger flew YYC-FRA-AMS on thursday evening. The bag didn't make it. Even though it went down the belt more than an hour prior to departure. This is a portion of an e-mail I received:

Can you believe it? As of 10a.m. Tuesday morning (2a.m. Calgary time) my
luggage has not left Calgary!!

According to Lufthansa, the bag is missing the original baggage tag but
was identified by its contents.
Lufthansa claims that they've sent 4 notices to Air Canada asking them to
send the luggage asap. Lufthansa claims they haven't received any reply
from Air Canada (although they must have at some point, otherwise they
wouldn't have known that my luggage is even there).

I'm at a loss as to what to do (this is 4 days that I've been here w/o my
luggage now - seems even longer) - tempted to get on the plane and go get
the bag myself! - it might be the fastest option.

I'll see if I can find a number for Air Canada in Calgary and see if I can call them myself.

From the luggage tracker site: "TRACING CONTINUES. PLEASE CHECK BACK LATER"

What is that supposed to mean? The luggage has been found in YYC. Why is tracing continuing?
