Sorry if this is a common question but I couldn't find an answer in the archives;

I've purchased an Amtrak ticket from PHL to EWR for travel next week. There's a possibility I might not make it in time for the train I've booked.

Just curious about Amtrak's policy if I show up for the train that departs just after the one I've booked?

I used a AAA discount code.
