If the upgrade will require a luxery tax payment (e.g. from the UK or France), be sure to have payment information ready - either your CC and security code or theirs. If they have a credit card on file, you'll still need the security code. And, on more than one occassion, I've had AA charge the wrong person's credit card, so just be aware.
