Welcome to FT and the friendly SPG forum evanderm! I have stayed at this property quite often while I was a Gold. And my upgrade experience there was only mediocre.
I have personally never booked a club room but my guess is that you will not get any upgrade when you book a club room already. Sometimes Golds can be lucky, but I would expect it.
