737 Conversion to Y+

Well after a busy few weeks of flying around on NZ and Vincent Air I have completed my last flight on NZ for a while, back to QF for a new membership year.
Last week I noticed that on two 737 flights that the announced increase in seat pitch has begun to be rolled out. It could have been the same aircraft, I do not do the rego thing (edit I just remembered there are definitely two as one was green), but I did notice that the first (6?) rows definitely had more room, not an inch but at least 4 inches it seemed.
Some other comments. My KC membership does not appear to let me move higher than row 5 or exit, even if there are other seats, including aisle not just the middle, available. On one flight a bench of 3 seats in row 3 was not occupied, 4:00 pm. on Monday. I guess I need some status, which I was heading that way until work started to buy the Smart Saver (how I do not know as the internet showed none available).
To offerings on the flight....breakfast museli is tasty and the coffee does taste better, heaps better than QF^. Cassava chips Cheese platter but limited drinks
Uniforms subtle change except for the FSM in the dark green.
Changes to the Koru Club at WLG and AKL. Food not as nice or limited and the beer counted was 16. Only for a short time I was told.
