I have had very similar experiences at the BHM station. I have flown in/out of there for the past three years and prior to Eagle taking over the "above wing" duties last year, it was even worse with the contracted ground handlers. Since Eagle has taken over the ticket counter/gate it seemed to have gotten a little better, but not great by any means. It just seems as if the entire BHM operation is disorganized. Nobody knows what the other one is doing and there is certainly a lack of communication. I'm sure AA thought they would be getting better service by placing Eagle employees in BHM, but it certainly has a long way to go!!
