I was looking in BKK and it did the same thing. Offer must have morphed:

'Book a qualifying hotel between April 28, 2008, and July 6, 2008 for 2 or more nights for travel between April 28, 2008, and September 30, 2008, via Orbitz and instantly receive 10% off your booking through the use of the promotion code.'

Not good for cheaper stays but certainly better for a higher end hotel and it's associated costs.
