Here is a map to refresh your memory. http://www.newseabury.com/images/cape-map.gif Assuming the sun sets in the west , there are beaches that will give sunset views over water or over land. The bayside beaches from Brewster to PTown all give water view sunsets as do the Capseside Buzzard's bay beaches. The ocean side beaches don't have sunset views. It is the bayside beaches you are thinking of where you can walk for seemingly a mile and still be in waist high water. Not much surf on the bayside though. And truthfully, on June 1, there won't be too many people in the water.

To wonderfultravels, a side trip to Scargo Hill tower is a good way to take in a some nice views too.

And the three roads that go east west are Rt 6 - a mostly divided highway with single lanes in some stretches, Rt 6A a one lane each direction side road lined with trees and antique shops and a slower pace of life, and Rt 28 - a fully developed and commericalized road that looks more and more like any developed road in America, just slower. Rt 28 can be agonizingly slow as you crawl along at 20 mph in bumper to bumper traffic.
