I'm 100% this year for upgrades on LAX-IAD and return. Mix of e500s and CR-1s.

Most flights booked just a few days before travel. I do book the flights with larger F cabins to help my chances, but otherwise don't give it any thought.

Trans-cons are so short it almost doesn't matter to me -- I don't even take a magazine along for flights under 10 hours anymore...
