It took me all of 10 minutes yesterday to clear ticketing & security (admittedly brief at the CO counter as a ST Elite, but couldn't have made a difference of 15 minutes based on line length). And this was a Bank Holiday Friday. I was behind 4 pax at security at 8:15 AM. This left me with 2:15 to kill - plus another 30 minutes due to delay from a disabled a/c on the runway.

BTW, I was subjected to the patdown and carryon complete emptying at boarding. Not a pleasant experience.
