Ticket counter opening hours, and general advice departing Mexico

Are the CO ticket counter opening hours posted anywhere for various stations? I've scoured the Continental site and tried to search for relevant terms here, and haven't been able to find anything.

Specifically, I'm flying out of MID Monday morning on CO 1843, which departs at 07:00. CO generally recommends showing up 3 hours early for departure out of most international destinations, including MID, according to https://www.continental.com/web/en-U...s/default.aspx

On one hand, it seems absurdly early to show up at MID at 4:00 am, when CO has only a single 737 leaving that day and at most 120 or so passengers to process, I'll be able to use the elite line, and MID is a tiny airport.

On the other hand, the only other Mexican airport where I've departed for the U.S. was last summer out of MEX, where I honestly needed every bit of the recommended 3 hours to get through the zoo at the AA check-in area (though I'm NOT elite on AA and had to stand around with the masses). Also, I'd like to check in relatively early and try to get my wife a companion upgrade if possible.

Any thoughts, or even better, experiences? Is the CO ticket counter at MID even *open* at 4 am?
