Whereas the
Acrobat Reader is a freeware product, Adobe also sells a full version of
Acrobat 5.0, which includes a PDF writer. Once properly installed, it appears as a printer, "Acrobat PDFWriter" to Windows and will prompt you for a file name and destination every time you "print."
