It would be nice if there were no bugs at ual.com. Yes it is good advice to have confirmation screens saved. But even a printed e-ticket purchase confirmation can't save you sometimes. UA still haven't bothered to explain properly why I was stranded in Milan-Malpensa, or Amsterdam this summer, because they couldn't find my reservation. All I got was an apology and stock customer service letter. To further disgrace UA, it was LH who honored the UA e-ticket confirmation from Italy to the USA!
