It just reminds me of Barney Fife...pretty uniform, shiny piece of tin, have to ask Andy's permission to take the bullet out of the shirt pocket.

It will give some TSO the feeling that they have "authority" to act in all ways LEO...I am betting that at least one TSO has already tried to use his/her piddly piece of tin to get out of a ticket...

Well, guess what, I have a piece of tin too. However, I am well aware that it just says I am a member of a rescue squad and only display it publicly when performing rescue squad-type duties when not in uniform.
