Other Avenues for a complaint?
First off I have to say that SPG customer service over the years has been steller on the few occasions I have used them. Recently I had an issue with a hotel in Italy which was not only awful treatment, but also the manager change my confirmed rate to a much higher rate etc. I filed a complaint, and the manager sent me a crap response, and would not reply to my response. And now SPG has closed the file, and can care less to fix this. Besides the general problems with the hotel The fact that a 220 Euro a night reservation came out to over $1000 is unacceptable. So I just filed a better business bureau complaint. Any other options. I am pissed and want the hotel to make things right, if they won't than I think starwood needs to come up with a solution on their own...
