But it doesn't matter that it's a codeshare - you didn't travel on UA you traveled on LH. I can't book an AC Tango fare through UA and get US miles for it - tango fares don't get miles, even if all UA fares get miles. It seems to be the airline (and I think all airlines) policy that the miles follow the metal....
