I think it's a good idea, although one needs to be a little careful in what you wish for. For example, were UA to sell a bucketload of these then getting into E+ etc (assuming current capacity) could become a bit of a crapshoot. I don't see that the 3P nominations make much difference to the elite benefits availability as of today, but add in a fair few customers who sign up for something like this and it could well do.
