Hmmmm ...

Zürich is not really the cheapest place to start from (as a general rule).

You´ll have a significantly higher quote of success (budget wise) if departing from Basel-Mulhouse Airport !
( IATA-codes MLH for France + BSL for Switzerland because it´s a binational airport !)

Istanbul (Turkey) would be a nice place to go for 2-3 days/nights - ca. 3 hrs flying time.
Easyjet flies there daily (albeit at "unfavourable" daytimes)

Another interesting destination is Marrakech (Morocco) - ca. 3 hrs flying time.
(also Easyjet)

Las Palmas (Canary Islands / belonging to Spain but ca. 2 hrs away from the spanish mainland - in fact just off the coast from Mauretania)
LPA is served by TUIfly .
Flying time is about 4 hrs.

But if you prefer to start from ZRH maybe Air Berlin can offer some nice destinations/offers.
(although you need to connect in many but not all cases at one of their german hubs - DUS/TXL)
