Are you able to expense 'extra airline fees'?

Reposting this here!

My travel patterns are to book my ticket 0-14 days in advance, usually with 1-3 changes. If I were to book any further out, I would average 3-5 changes per ticket.

I often book refundable tickets, unless I know that something is set in stone (and invariably when I do book non-refundable, I get a call on the way to the airport, or during a layover, to change my plans)

So, are you able to expense the new fees?
  • change fees
  • same day stand by fees
  • 2nd bag fees
  • overweight bag fee
  • any other fee

I realize that many here are exempt from these fees, but many are not! If you were not exempt, would you be expensing them? In my case, I may fly NW or DL once per year, so I would need to pay any fees they have in place if I make use of the service.

(And yes, I will be expensing those with no issue; I have for instance expensed change fees and overweight bag fees in past)
