With my own bank, the ABN AMRO it's possible..but it's a mastercard, so i won't get points.
Where are you located? Because you mention ABN Amro I guess you are talking about the Dutch card and not the French one.

In that case: you can try; the margins aren't exact figures. The problem can be that you don't have any income at all (studiebeurs is not the same as income) but when they decline you, you can always ask your banker to send a recommadation for you.

My card (besides FB Amex also Amex Platinum) and spending habits are out of line of my income but I'm a good customer who always pays the bill on time, so never had any problems.
