OT: A historical overview of BA crew uniforms

Oil price/share price/slagging-off-BA-at-any-price getting you down?

Behold a minor but likely welcome respite from the doom and gloom:

Lovely sweet-looking Japanese models wearing BA/BOAC/BCal uniforms of the last 60 years (to celebrate 60 years of flying to Japan!)

My favourite: The paper frocks, the bright BCal uniforms made in a tartan straight out of the Marcia Blaine School for Gerrrrrrls

My least favourite: the ones they got rid of a few years ago (pleated skirts, floral overkill). I remember watching them being modelled on the Clothes Show in the 80s (think Jeff Banks may have designed them) and thinking how vile they were even then!

For those old enough to remember..enjoy!
