Yes, especially as United is using A319/A320s on at least some of the routes (which they do now - I can fly A320 between SEA/SFO and SEA/LAX if I am flexible). This gives onboard entertainment that Southwest cannot offer, as well as better seats. If they keep E+ (I'd be willing to sacrfice the F Cabin to do it), even better.

The Airbus has to be cheaper to operate than the 737-300s and 737-500s United has now. I expect they cannot take any of the Airbus' they have on order right now, but returning the 733s as fast as they can (as I understand it, all UA 737s are leases) will make me happy. :-)
