MH uses Royal Orchid lounges in BKK.
The lounge in BOM is quite pathetic.
Showers in KUL lounge is good. If you find it's full then if you've been waiting long, make a fuss and they'll let you use the FC showers.
Yes amenity kits are handed out between KUL to BOM. With the 777s I usually request Row 1. With the 747s I ask for upper deck and try for the exit row upon check-in. And if you are ever in the very pointy end, always go for Row 1. That's where the Malaysian King sits if he's travelling MAS. I've been very fortunate a number of times and got Row 1 in First.
The lounge in SYD is very ordinary.
