UAL is not my primary airline, but they happen to fly a routing that my primary doesn't do, PHX - SNA/SAN. But both segments (connects in LAX) are operated by SkyWest, so does that really help out UAL directly by buying SkyWest operated tickets? Do they get a small portion of the ticket because it is booked through them?
