Yes, If a pax on one of our flights becomes ill we can get them onto oxygen in the ring main system above all your heads. However there is a strict system of how we operate this but alas cannot prevent pax doing stupid things even when we tell them not to.....

The announcement is called a PRA (pre recorded announcement) and we have them for Decompression/Ditching and Emergency landing as well as the usual hello goodbye's in foreign languages.
This is fitted to every aircraft from the vast 747 to the titch 737-500!
On your new entrant training for cabin crew we listen to the bliddy emerg PRA's millions of times whilst pretending to berife the pax...god I'm sick of that northern accent by now! lol...;-)
