Thanks for the feedback. Did some more online checking, and "revenue enhancement" associated with the Opryland Hotel is even worse than expected.

The "hotel" parking, apparently run by a separate concessionaire, not the hotel, has now increased to $18 per day, and the airport shuttle rate has risen to $28 one way and $38 roundtrip. Man oh man.

The $38 R/T fee per person for the shuttle is more than I will have to pay for five days of parking at the COS airport (@ $6/day)!

Not sure what I am going to do yet. Why are conferences set up at hotels like this, which have such ridiculous extra expenses???
