I would second kyushuman's comments on Tarntawan. My one and only trip so far to BKK was in that hotel. My bf and I stayed there and I found it very good value for money, and a quiet little spot in the middle of a very hectic area. Since I'm caucasian and my bf is of Chinese descent, I did get a kick out of some of the caucasian men nodding at me in approval, presumably for getting a good rentboy

Their breakfasts were actually quite good and the staff very friendly and warm.

Next trip is at the Hyatt tho, for a change of pace, since we're spoilt for choices of hotels in BKK!
