Browsing through the
F Menus comparing the two SFO-HKG flights, it appears that
CX879 has something more going than
CX873. For 879, they serve you two starters for the first meal whereas you only get one for 873. On the desert aspect, 879 offers two more choices than 873. Then you've got the wonton noodles & hot pot rice meals that are listed on the snack menu for 879 but listed as one of the main courses for 873. How come? While we're on the subject of snacks, 879 has four snack items to choose from whereas 873 only has one. So after comparing the menus for the two flights, I'm getting the impression that 879 has a more comprehensive and thorough menu than 873. Does anyone know why one flight has a better menu than the other on the same route in terms of quantity choice? Am I also using the correct assumption that if maximizing the meal experience is the primary factor to enjoying F class, then taking CX879 over CX873 would be the obvious decision?
