I spent three nights there almost 12 months to the day. Comfortable, clean accommodation. Pool area is above average, room quite spacious but no view and nothing of interest in the immediate vicinity. Complimentary shuttle runs every 30 minutes. I'd stay there again. As for family-friendliness, I was staying by myself and didn't see any families there; however, there didn't seem to be anything that would make it anti-family.
